Our History

Holbrook's HVAC Service History Photo 3

In 1955, Ben Holbrook recognized the demand for a Commercial and Industrial HVAC company in Northern Utah and established Holbrook Company Inc. The company grew beyond Northern Utah and became a national contracting firm.

In 1987, Ben’s son, John Holbrook, transitioned the service department of that organization into Holbrook Service Inc., a new company focused on providing HVAC service in the Intermountain West. Holbrook Service covers a 5 state service area of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Nevada, including a branch in Colorado Springs.

With an expanding customer base, Holbrook Service later opened a third branch office in Denver in 1999.

Since then, both the Colorado Springs office and Headquarters in Salt Lake City have expanded into new buildings to accommodate a steadily growing customer base.

Lastly, in the summer of 2015, Holbrook Service added its’ Controls Division to better serve our customers by providing and servicing facility controls in the Intermountain West.

Holbrook Service and Servco

Servco joined the Holbrook family when it was acquired by John Holbrook in 2001. Established in 1956, Servco has become the premier boiler service provider for the Intermountain West, covering Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho.

In 2005, Servco partnered with the industry leader in boiler manufacturing to become the exclusive representative for Cleaver-Brooks throughout Utah, Eastern Idaho, and Western Wyoming.
